These cookies were made for Barbra, who is doing a lot of celebrating this weekend!  She ordered dump truck cookies for her son Clark's 4th birthday party and a platter of Dolphins football cookies to celebrate her husbands 50th birthday.

Ok...dump problem.  Had lots of ideas and was completely inspired by Brenda's Cakes!

The Dolphins cookies made me a little nervous...and as if I wasn't nervous enough...I found out that the name she wanted on the football jerseys was...wait for it...Mohrbutter!!!  That is a long name.  But, I assured her I could do it and got to work!  Once  again I made excellent use of my Kopykake....thank goodness for that machine!!!

So...Thanks to Barbra for the order and I hope you enjoy your weekend celebrating!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

All that green!!!!

In addition to orders for St. Patty's boys wanted me to make Leprechaun cookies for each of their could I say no????  So ... I was pretty busy this week!

I made large platters, mini platters and, of course, Leprechaun favors!  I am just posting a few pictures since most of the platters are very similar.

Happy  St. Patrick's Day everyone! And a special thanks to Sugarbelle for her fab tutorial on how to make those cute Leprechauns!

Buzz Lightyear Cookie Favors!

"To infinity and beyond...."
These Buzz Lightyear Cookie Favors were made for a very special son's 3rd grade teacher.  Her son JoJo is turning 3 and he LOVES Toy Story.  When she asked for these cookies I had a mini -nervous breakdown in my head (but I just kept smiling and nodding)!  I really don't like character cookies.  I am not an artist....I can't draw, or paint, or doing anything else even remotely artistic.  But, because I happen to really like Mrs. Venezia as a teacher and as person... I agreed,  while silently praying that I would be able to pull this off.  So with the help of my Kopykake (fantastic, life changing piece of machinery) and a lot of patience...I think I did it.

So, thank you Mrs. Venezia for your order...and thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your students!  I hope little JoJo has a great Birthday and likes the cookies!
